My hops are close to being ready for harvesting. I was going to pick them this weekend however we are set to get our first batch of rain in about 2 months. Should I wait until after the rain? Is it ok to pick them wet? Any advice is appreciated!

We're in the same situation (must live near each other). I don't see any problem with picking the hops wet, as long as you get them in an oast/dehydrator quickly. If you are just setting them on a screen, I would wait.

I opt to pick on a dry, sunny day to avoid excessive moisture remaining on the hops during drying. If I had a specialized kiln-drying bed for hops I might not care, but I don't :(
