Doing a birthday-brew tonight. The wife got me a grain mill (among other cooking things) and it works beautifully. My birthday's actually tomorrow, but I have to work, so tonight's the night! Polish-style pilsner is mashing away as I type.

Happy Birthday! What makes this polish style different from the others?

I'm using Lubelski hops (from the Lublin area of Poland) as opposed to the more traditional Czech ones for bittering and aroma. That's really the only difference.

Brew night went well. I might post the recipe one of these days if the beer turns out as planned.
