I can only run 2# of pressure, without getting a half a glass of foam. What gives? The beer tastes properly carbed after all the head goes away. I must be doing something wrong. Help!

How long are your lines? The first thing that came to my mind was "short lines, I'll bet!". If you have 8 foot lines or so, and are still getting foam, then I'd guess the beer is overcarbed. What pressure have you kept the beer at, and what temperature?

1. Turn your gas down to zero
2. Release all gas pressure from keg
3. Place a glass under the tap
4. Open tap all the way (nothing should come out)
5. Slowly turn screw to allow gas flow
6. Gas fill keg and begins to flow
7. Stop turning screw when beer flows nicely
8. Lift and tilt glass to pour properly
9. Turn off tap

Good carbonation or what?

Yes,

6 feet of 3/16th beer lines, minimum.

Will solve the problem.

Set the pressure at serving pressure- probably about 8-9 psi I'd guess with short lines like that. Keep pulling the pressure relief valve to get out all the extra carbonation. When it's no longer overcarbed, you can turn the pressure down a bit to pour. Put on longer lines, so you won't have to keep adjusting the pressure up and down to pour, for next time!
