I purchased I nitro set up to pour Guinness for st pattys day. Got it set up and set at 28psi. It poured great for the party. But I have a little less then half a keg left and now it pour is mostly head. Checked the lines for leaks and have tried to adjust the pressures up and down to no avail. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem or what pressure I can set it to pour like it did when I first taped it?

From what I have gathered, the recommended carbonation level for beer to be dispensed using beer gas (25/75) is 1 to 1.4 volumes of CO2. Depending on the temperature of your keg, it's possible the constant 28 psi has raised the carbonation level of the beer, making it more difficult to dispense without excessive foam.

Might want to shut off the gas to the keg and find a way to relieve the head pressure every so often over the next day or two, then see if the dispensing issue resolves...

Cheers!

Get a 100ft 1/8" ID dispense hose and pour from the second floor of your house. JK, I had nothing useful to aport, but wanted to post something.

Sould I bleed the head pressure off completely? And then how long should I let it sit before trying to pour again? Also how long does the beer last with no gas to it? Thanks you much 🍻
