I have 27 empty, in good shape Grolsch bottles and would like to bottle some of my Imperial Stout I currently have kegged and tapped. Are these green bottle acceptable for an Imperial Stout? Will they keep the beer from spoilage as long as they are kept in a cool dark environment?.

Thanks.

Salute! :mug:

I wouldn't hesitate to put a big beer in those. I have a few grolsch bottles with 999 Barleywine in them; I foresee no problems because I keep them in a cool dark closet.

I love the EZ-Caps. I have had no problem with the green or the brown ones. And so much less work come bottling day.

Have 'em going ... those bottles are more or less heavy duty :)
