Hey All,
Old brewer, new forum user . Been brewing since '92 on and off, mostly off. Started all grain brewing in 2000, and after another in a series of brewing hiatus' I'm back in. Looking back, so much has changed in home brewing since the Papazian era. I've made some additions to my old 15 gal keg gravity system, like 2 pumps, a HERMs coil and a whrilpool tube to the brew kettle. Hope to get the ball rolling this week with a 10 gal. batch of Widmer Pitch Black Ale Clone.

Thanks, for the welcome guys. it is a lot of fun . Being a process oriented guy i enjoy tinkering with my system(no, that's not a euphemism) as much as I do brewing beer. my beer stuff is always at the ready, but it's tough to get the time to do it. I'm sure it's true for most brewers. Just gotta do it.

Yea we would stay in marmora and drive to 34th beach access. Spent a lot of time between there and the boardwalk. Ate a LOT of Mack and Mancos pizza. There was some seafood place we use to eat at in Somer's Point - don't remember the name but the tshirt said "Shuck em Suck em Eat them raw". Haha.

I mistook OC to mean Ocean County, I'm a bit farther north, above the South Jersey dividing line. I have heard of M&M's Pizza, pretty good pie by all accounts. But it is tough to get a bad pizza in NJ. Was it Smitty's Clam Bar by any chance ?

Ah.

Smitty's doesn't ring a bell. I can ask my neighbor, he still goes up there annually.
