After surfing around the site for a few weeks, I figure it was time to get into the discussion. I'm from Alabama and started my first batch about a week ago. It was a 1 gallon kit, but luckily I found an old timer who has quit brewing and needed to unload some equipment. A capper, caps, two 5-gallon fermenters, and a few airlocks later I'm getting ready for the next round. Just wanted to say hello, and although my inexperience is high so is the excitement of home brewing.
