Greetings from San Diego

Hey everyone,

My name is Jonathan and I wanted to say hi to everyone and introduce myself. I just started homebrewing and have an IPA on its first day of fermenting. I got to say it was very therapeutic to go through the motions of brewing from mashing to pitching yeast.

I'm a lifelong San Diegan and currently in grad school at SDSU (Go Aztecs!). I hope to meet some more fellow SD folks who are homebrewers especially since SD has exploded with microbreweries this past year.

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter/Passover/day without football.

Hey Jonathan, we just went to S.D last weekend had a nice trip, we stayed close to Little Italy and went to Stone Brewery in Escondido, what an awesome place! We also went to Karl Strauss brewery, The Yard House and the Princess pub. Nice area.

Hello. I'm in San Marcos. I'm just about to brew my first, but whimped out on an extract kit. A few friends are SDSU alums including my brother n sis-in-law, who live in Carlsbad. I plan on taking this brewing gig as far as I can, so my journey begins with a maharaja clone. Cheers!
