I've actually been lingering in the shadows here for several months.
I'm originally from Saint Paul, MN transplanted to Reno, NV in 2000. I'm a computer geek at the University of Nevada and have been brewing for a little more than a year. I started off with two cans of hopped extract and a packet of dry yeast and have rapidly evolved through extract plus steeping grains into creating my own mini-mash recipes and conducting them with decent efficiency in a Coleman 2-gal beverage cooler.
Beyond that... :fro: is a totally great emoticon.
