Guten Tag,

In addition to my other 50 hobbies, I am now excited to learn all I can about brewing and I'm glad there are such awesome communities online like this one. Sure, I enjoy going out to get a beer, but I'm the kinda person that follows the philosophy of 'if I can make it myself, I will' - which in the long run takes a lot of time and money, but keeps me occupied and interesting. Thus, here I am.

I am just getting started in brewing and I can't seem to stop reading all day and night about it - it's already addicting. Like most people, I've already bought quite a bit of equipment ahead of time (I've needed some of it for other things too) yet without a completed plan as to what exactly I want to do. For now, I am interested in making a good, sweet hard cider, then maybe a good German Hefe later on.

Prost!
