Hello all.

Just getting into the HB world and will never go back...I am finishing my first batch of Irish Stout (Brewer's Best kit). And I am in the process of a cherry wheat. I hope all goes well. If it doesn't, I'll have to drink store bought beer until another batch is ready.

Welcome! I brewed my first batch in Nashville, myself. It's a hell of a city. Is the Bohannon Brewing Co. (i.e., Market Street) still doing well?

Don't see much from them anymore. Yazoo has really taken off though. They brew in the old MArathon Motors factory off Charlotte Ave.

Market Street Brewhouse (or whatever they called the bar) stopped selling Market Street beer a couple of years ago, and finally closed down last year.

As the other poster noted, Yazoo is the new local brew.

That's a shame. They made some beer for a while, and the brewpub was good when it started. I heard it took a turn for the worse a while back, though. I used to drink their beer at Bogie's Back Bar (now also gone, I believe) at the Music Row Days Inn when my SWMBO worked there, back before we were married. That hotel just came in third for the dirtiest hotel in America, by the way. :)
