Greetings ladies and gents,
New to the forums here and wanted to say hello.

A friend hooked me up with a bottle of his mead and I was instantly hooked into the trade of making mead. Absolutely delicious! :mug:

I'm new too. I understand completely and got my first batches started yesterday. :)

If you are just getting started, try the Brays One Month Mead (BOMM). Makes a delicious 12% mead in one month. It will keep you going while you are waiting a few years for your first sack mead to age out!

If you're thinking of cloning, then you need to know type i.e. FG as sold, pH, any other ingredients.

Mead can be a deep dark world with many pitfalls so if you know the type you like, its easier to shine some light on appropriate method and technique........
