Hello all looking for good suggestions on base malts and other grains that are good choice is a lift to golden and also an amber beer. On Friday I'm going to try doing 3 all grain brews in one day and hit the full spectrum of color! Any addition information like lovibond and other information pertaining to this subject would be highly appreciated! Also adjuncts can be discussed too! Thanks all!

For a Belgian Golden Ale, use a good Belgian Pils malt, like Chateau's. For an Amber, a good Pale Ale malt paired with a mid-level and dark crystal and a touch of Chocolate malt or Roasted Barley will get you there. I like Crisp for Pale Ale, Briess or Crisp for the Crystals, Briess for the Chocolate, and Crisp for Roasted Barley.
