So me and my fiancé went and spent the weekend in nags head north carolina trying to get some things lined up for our wedding down there in july. I have been there probably a hundred times but never went to this brew pub. It is the first wind powered brew pub in America with a 10 kw wind turbine behind it. The brewery is visible from the restaurant/bar area through windows. We really liked this place. They have growlers available to purchase and take home (of course i had to buy a couple) so i bought a really tasty barley wine and a kolsch style. These aren't cheap twist off growlers some brewpubs sell, they are the nice flip top kind. So if you ever get down to the outer banks stop into the outer banks brewing station! Good food. Great beer! Its become my new favorite place down there! Gonna brew an ale next weekend to fill these growlers up!

I love how small brewpubs are popping up all over. This is a great time in history to be a beer lover!
