Great American Beer Festival

Was unable to get tickets but have my plane ticket booked. Does anyone know hard it is to get tickets outside of the Convention center before the festival?

It's not hard at all, I've gone and bought tickets the day of, plenty of scalpers and others selling tickets outside the convention center. You can also check and there are usually threads on BA, Ratebeer, or even search Colorado's Craigslist.

Agreed, you may end up paying a bit more but there are always a lot of people out there trying to unload tickets. I found some on Craigslist the day of last year.

you will get tickets CHEAP outside the event. Unlike concerts and sporting events there is not a lot of people showing up to the event without tickets.

I think I got in for 20 bucks a session on year.

Stubhub has a lot of tickets starting around 120

120 is ridiculous that's part of the problem that the BA organization needs to fix. Buy tickets day of and don't pay more then face value. Tickets are not hard to find

Thanks for the replies. I think I'm just gonna wait till the day of to buy the tix. I have been seeing on Stub Hub where tix have going for like 150. Definitely not spending that much. Sounds like I shouldn't have a problem getting them outside the center before the fest.
