Who will win and why? Post some crazy ass speculation here.

Dallas is favored by 7 and most of the pundits have selected Dallas.

Packers are 0-8 in texas stadium under Favre, but that was a young Favre. Are there any other players involved in that rivalry that are still around? Has Favre outlived them all? Not even sure if that history lesson makes sense anymore.

Favre and TO have some history in that playoff win for the Niners.
Jerry Jones is still a Joker looking ass.

My Prediction:
28-34 Dallas. Favre will be driving for the go ahead score and will be intercepted on a tipped pass. Won't even be his fault. Historically speaking he hasn't been a come from behind player until this year.

I'm rooting for a shootout; Favre to throw six TD and five hundred yeards, TO to catch three TDs for a couple hundred yards. I'm not a dis-interested party, though!

Seems like this is the real test for Green Bay; this looks to be by far the toughest game they've had all year. The teams they have faced this year are a collective 57-64 (47%), not too bad but the only team they've faced with a record better than 6-5 were the Giants in week 2 (who are now 7-4). Virtually everybody they've played has been very mediocre, so this will show, hopefully, whether they are a legitimate contender.

Pulling for GB but think Dallas wins. Anyone know the health of Woodson? He good to go this week? If we win its because our defense is better than theirs IMO espcially the defensive backs. If we get behind we're screwed and the Dudes prediction shall come true (4 Favre picks). Stellar DB's, stop their TE and contain their rush is the recipe.

Hopefully they get some good LB coverage too. Too many journeyman Lion RBs out of the backfield in in the slot were getting 13yd gains.

Lots of talk on this on espn radio today. Most of those Thu night games seem like they're planned to be lopsided events. They didn't expect for this to be a big game. I don't have the NFL network and won't pay for it. I'll go to a bar instead but it still pisses me off. Makes me think of when boxing went this route to PPV and now look at their sport. Greedy bastages.

And yet, I think it's better than the Cowboys:

Green Bay is better against Quality Opponents than any team in the NFC (3-0, +13.3 PPG scoring differential). The Packers are also clearly more balanced than their opponent in Thursday night's NFC Game of the Century, Dallas, the team those not armed by the Cold, Hard Football Facts consider the best in the NFC. But we'll know more late Thursday night.

Cowboys Record vs. Quality Teams: 2-1, +0.0 PPG

I didn't mean that disrespectfully (I'm not even sure what the Pats' opponents' record is). Whatever their opponent's record is, Dallas is a pretty damn good team; they can run, pass, and play D.

Oh, I also have Nick Folk now, so I'm rooting for a bunch of FG's, too. Basically, I'm rooting for the OVER....

I like the Packers and hope this is a good game, but they're going down. I actually wish the Packers didn't have all the injuries they have to see how they really stack up. I think the Packers are a little beat up right now. Dallas is still pretty healthy. http://www.packers.com/team/injury_list/

I hope it's a fireworks display. I like the back and fourth nail biters!

I miss my Direct TV - NFL Network was standard. Now I'm stuck with Comcast (basitds) and will be doing what you're doing.

As an Eagles fan, I am rooting for whover plays the Cowboys.... Go Pack Go!

The 'Boys in a landslide. I don't even think it will be close, say 40-7.

GAWD, I hope I'm wrong. WAAYYY wrong.

I agree about NFL Network- that sux. Doesn't affect me, though, I have Dish Network, plus two TV stations local to me have bought the rights to the game, so everyone around here can see it.

I'm going for the cowboys and I think they'll win. Even though both teams have high-scoring offenses, I think this game will slow both sides down. I'm thinking 17-10 the cowboys take it.

I think both defenses will step it up and really focus on stopping the other team rather than rely on the offense to out-score the other one. Not that either team is doing this now but this is just the way I see this game going down tomorrow.

And yeah, I'm totally peeved that this is on the NFL network. I grew up in Dallas and I even played football with Tyson Thompson (Dal) and Demarcus Faggins (Hou) and I still don't care for Jerry Jones. He's getting way too influential in the football market. At what point does he have enough money anyways?

I think Dallas will squeak it out in a semi-shootout.

Dallas will run on the Packers, and run well. It will wear down the Packers D. Favre will have to pass like 50 times for a chance at a victory.

This game more than likely decides HFA for the playoffs. No one but GB wants to play in Lambeau in January, but alas the desire to play at LF won't be enough for the Packers this time.

34-24 'boys. :(

Yeah, the NFL network thing sucks. I've had Direct TV for years, so no problem here. Ch 212. I've got the DVR set to record.

The physical Packers D is too much for the Cowboys. TO doesn't do as well against the more physical CBs and Al Harris will bump him at the line all game long. He won't be able to run clean routes. He'll still make plays but Romo is going to be checking it down a hell of a lot under that Packer pressure and it'll hopefully keep him from getting in rhythm. Pack has enough running game to keep the Boys honest and Favre can spread it around. I love the Packers WRs corps and the way they have stepped up. If the Cowboys want to win they need to give Marion Barber 20+ touches. But they won't go that route and hopefully Romo gets forced into some bad throws under pressure.

Pack wins a tough one on the road 27-23.

Besides, I hate the way the NFL media has bent over and opened wide for Romo. I hope Charles Woodson can go.

Go Pack Go.

Now that the NFC Central is out of sight for Detroit  , I'm pulling for GB to win it all (that way maybe Farve will finally retire--if he's waiting to go out on top).

GB takes it in a squeaker.

Hasen't been a come from behind player until this year?

Granted Farve does seem to loose his head when he gets frustrated, but he's got the best 2 min. game in the NFL. I am a Packers fan, but more of a Farve fan. He's just fun to watch. If the rest of the team won't win the game, he'll try to do it himeslf! I love to see those 80 yd. TD passes.

I hate to say this, but I think GB is going down in this one. Neutral site and both teams healthy, I think it is even, maybe Cowboys by 1 or 2. Add 3 for home field and 2 more for the injuries and dinged up guys the Pack has and there is your 7 point spread.

+1,000,000

Oh, wait, I did choose them in a blowout earlier in the season when I was still int he suicide league. A sad day.

I hope Dallas wins. I don't like the Cowboys or anything, and I don't even really care if they win or lose most of the time, but I know some people with an embarasing bet riding on the outcome and it will be a lot more funnier if the Cowboys win.

I despise both of these teams. I wish that there was a way for both of them to lose.

LMFAO. This coming from a fan of the team who gets to play juggernauts like the Bills, Jets and Dolphins.

Are you going to read (and think about) my damn posts or not?

The point was not to knock the Pack; in fact, I've been rooting for them to do well. The point was not to say anything negative about Green Bay, just that this game is critical in that it's the first time all year that they've had a real tough opponent. Same as New England playing Indianapolis.

F*ck it, I'm rooting for the 'Boys, just to piss you off... :D

C'MON, DALLAS!
