Grainy Tasting?

My past few beers have been sorta grainy tasting. Almost like the unfermented wort. I think it may have had something to do with the boil. My pot doesn't quite fit on the burner and never quite gets to a full boil. Could that be the issue?

I have made the switch to AG and now have a propane burner, so if that is the issue, I will hopefully avoid that..
