First brew in our new house, I am trying a pumpkin ale. I currently have about 11.25 pounds of grain and 10 pounds of pumpkin puree! It seems its at its near max for everything (based on the pipe height ). Hoping it comes out well! :ban:

Definite stuck sparge. I had to stir the bottom while sparging. However, I hit my SG based on 80% eff!

Post boil ended up being about 70% eff. TONS of trub. Like a lot. I am for sure placing a blow off on this. Lesson learned. Need lots of hulls for this one!

Yup! I get a nice boil. Takes me about 15-20 minutes for mash temps and about 10-15 for a boil after sparge. But as soon as I lift the basket to sparge, I kick it on boil.

Sweet, do you use a jacket on yours? I'm interested in getting one, the reviews about the lack of power worry me. Sounds like yours works great though!

I gave mine a wrap with reflectix. And I had enough leftover to do a second wrap since its pretty thin. It's far cheaper than the jacket and works just as well.
