Grain storage question

I have some unused space on top of the compressor in my fermentation freezer. Does anyone store their unused grains in their fermentation chamber? The grain is double bagged. Will the CO2 and/or other odors from fermentation affect the grains?
 
The grain will be fine. The grain is probably going to be fine at room temperature though too. It's pretty hardy. Frankly, I'd store it outside the fridge.
 
There's always the possibility of condensation if you store the grain in the fridge. I store mine at room temp.
