UPDATE - Fermenter and Glycol Chiller are no longer available. New asking price is $1,500.
Help! Stopped brewing and am moving soon, and have a lot of equipment that I no longer need. I'm in the metro Columbus Ohio area so would prefer interested parties that also are in the area - I do not intend to ship this stuff nor do I want to rent a truck and drive it to wherever - but I am willing to part with this stuff for cheap - super cheap!
My preference is to liquidate all of this stuff in one transaction if possible and again, cheap! Ok, here's what I've got:
I actually have 2 systems - the older one (circa 2012-ish) is a gas bayou burner and a 10-gallon Blichmann G1 Boilermaker kettle with a recirc fitting, dual-coil copper wort chiller (custom), 10-gallon cooler-type mash tun, 8-gallon HLT, and a bunch of other accessories for a full outdoor system with glass carboy fermenters, O2 wand, etc.
The other system is a 3-vessel E-HERMS with a Wort-Hog EBC-330 controller, the 3 kettles are 10-gallon Boilermaker G2’s. HLT has the Boil-Coil and a stainless HERMS coil, MLT has the stainless false bottom and an auto-sparge unit, BK has the Boil-Coil and a whirlpool arm. All fittings are ½” cam-locks. Pumps are Blichmann for the wort recirc, and a Chugger that I use to recirc water. Stainless table comes with the kettles and has SS Brewtech silicone mats under the kettles.
Wort chiller is a good-size plate chiller with ½” cam-locks.
Accessories include electronics such as lab grade pH meter and refractometer, a manual refractometer, 3 separate hydrometers (lab grade, calibrated), grain bins, grain scale, lab grade smaller scale for doing water chemistry, etc. Erlenmeyer flasks – 1L, 2L, 3L, and 5L. 2 stir-plates, one small and one large. Cleaning stuff like PBW, StarSan, etc. Kegs – a handful of 5-gallon cornies, and a couple 3-gallon mini’s.
There is also an older (but working) 7 cu. ft. chest freezer with a couple Johnson A-419 controllers and a heat wrap (great for temperature control for aging kegs, lagering, or fermenting in carboys). Oh, and a two-tap kegerator with Perlick's. I also have an O2 tank (still quite full…) with regulator, and 4 CO2 bottles – one 20-Lb with regulator, and three 5-Lb bottles – one is in the kegerator with a dual-regulator, one is a back-up and is full, and the other one, also full, has a single regulator for general use around the brewery.
Consumables include a bunch of grain (50-Lbs of Rahr 2-row, a bunch of pilsner, some Maris Otter, Munich, etc. Oh, and a bunch of specialty malts – some are 2 or 3 years old but some are still in sealed pouches. Tons of hop pellets, again, some are 2 to 3 years old but have been sitting in the freezer since purchase, and some are unopened.
I really just need to get rid of all this stuff quick, and did I say Cheap? Yes, yes I did. Over $15k invested in all this stuff but obviously am not looking to recover all that $$$, I would be willing to part with the whole lot for $1,500 - just have a look and make an offer - bring a truck because it is very likely you'll be driving off with this stuff. If you'd like to get a quick look at the system, see below.
