Hey folks,

I just received my local water report:

Minerals
Calcium (Ca+2): 5.20ppm
Magnesium (Mg+2): 1.2ppm
Bicarbonate (HCO3-1): 17.5ppm
Sulfate (SO4-2): 1.61ppm
Sodium (Na+1): 1.75ppm
Chloride (Cl-1): 4.97ppm

Disinfectants
Chlorine, Total Residual: 1.25ppm
Dichloramine: 0.27ppm
Monochloramine: 0.68ppm

But this means very little to me (if anything at all). Can anyone suggest a good resource for learning about what to look for here?

Any suggestions for specific adjustments to my water would also be welcomed and appreciated.

You are fortunate in having water that is virtually mineral free. Hit it with a little metabite to get rid of the chloramine and then follow the reams of advice you will find here for treatment of RO water.

Yep!

Use a crushed campden tablet to treat ~20 gallons of your water to neutralize chloramine (as AJ said), and treat it as pretty much RO water per the primer you linked.
