HI Guys,

I am thinking to make some wine me local home brew store has grape juice 3 (3 x 5.5 gallon ) for $100. and you have the choice between Merlot, Zinfandel and Chianti. Is that a good price? And what would be a good choice for sweet wine.

The juice is brand less i think they make it at the location because the have there own pres etc... its grape Juice for wine and yes it is 16.5 gallons for $100

I would ask the source of the grapes, confirm if this is fresh pressed juice (though I would want to ferment on the skins), brix, pH, TA.

Where is this LHBS? Is this Chilean grape juice?

AJOHA2003: Is this place named Corrado's? If so, I'm not sure about the price since I don't have buying experience in that volume but the place is known for having good quality wine inventory. I started going there about 10 years ago.

If not, Corrado's please let me know where this is since I'm always looking for a new place.

Yep. Its corrados in NJ I have the new adv from the it valid until march 27 and yes it 3 x 5.5 gallons for 100. I never got wine juice from them. I believer the press it and store it in big storage silos. I dont belive the have the skins. I am very new to wine. I am going to risk it and get one bucket of each. For that price why not :D

I know only of 3 place for home brew in nj area. http://ckhomebrew.com/ Corrado's and the whole food store in Paramus. Only Corrados has actual wine juice for sell. I now of another place in Wallington NJ that make wine but i am not sure if the sell wine juice to the public.
