I am getting ready to buy some grain 50# of pale malt. what would be a good mix of the specialty grains. I will be getting some for oatmeal, Crystal.
Some AG beers I have made are Foster clone, Guinness clone and a pilsener.
I am working on some rescipes for a brown ale, Belgium strong ale, stout and I am trying to work out a pilsener that I add Sage Brush to. :tank:

I worked at a microbrewery here in town. all the beers were extracts/ grains, but we served 19 different styles. I was supprised at the number of different grains we used for all the styles. If my memory serves correct, all we had was crystal 40L, 80L, peated malt, wheat malt, carapils, black patent, chocolate, munich, 2-row, roasted barley, torified wheat, and flaked oats. I'm sure there are one or two I'm forgetting but those grains would be a great start for an inventory.:mug:

What is your budget, what is your maximum capacity, and what kind of brewing schedule, i.e., brewing frequency 1x daily, 1x weekly, 1x monthly, etc...are you looking at?

few more question....how about storage? dry, humid, vermin permeable?
