Very interesting. Especially in light of my very Orwellian Time Lords 2034 trilogy. Still working on book two. And Pete's still brewing beer! My version of Orwell's story happens some 70 years later...

I'm reading 1984 right now. He put forth an interesting read on production Vs capacity to destroy, and poverty.

I expanded upon that theme in the near future. Since we're all that & now too dependent on technology, well, shiz just got real...only now things can move faster & with more detrimental results of a more permanent nature.
