thinking of trying this gelatin thing to clear a batch of red.

found the amounts to add, with some people adding to the primary and some to the keg. we just moved the red to a secondary last night and am considering popping the lid and adding the gelatin at this point.

anyone see a problem? :mug:

Secondary is the perfect time to add Gelatin. It will work at room temperature, but not very well, and it will be very slow.

If you can cold crash the beer, cold crash it down to 36-40* or so, then add the gelatin. I use about a tablespoon. Mix it with hot water but keep it under 160*, then dump it in. Within a day or two the beer will be sparkling clear.
