Where in Australia are you? I spent a semester at Univesity of Sydney. Great time. THere used to be a real good brew pub called the Pump House but I heard it went under.

Most of the members are in the US and were asleep between your post & bump. As to why the people in the UK didn't say anything ...

Hello Jack,

I am down here in Texas, am an old codger, '55'
who has been brewing nearly as long as you have been around.
Never talked to an Aussie that wasn't friendly.
Good folks, who like to drink beer and hunt hogs.
{When it is 7:30 am in Melbourne it is 3:30am in Texas.}
I was on a chat room, it was 3:30am and I said:
"Hold on I gotta go get me a beer"
Some guy said:
I like beer too, but its 7:30 in the morning and I am on the way to work,
it is kinda early to start drinking isn't it?
I said it is 3:30 at night here in Texas and I am about ready for bed.
He said oh! drink one for me.
And so I drank two.

I would like to see your brewing website.
I thought about adding some brewing stuff to my knife making website.
jacksknifeshop.tripod.com
/click on casch or whatever if you goggle the site up, it is there.

G'day.
I had the pleasure of spending about two weeks in Australia and I love your country. I was in Brisbane and also had a chance to go to Surfer's Paradise to see the Grand Prix.
Australia is the friendliest country I've ever been to. :mug:

I am quite interested to see your web site once you've finished it.

Oh... Welcome! :mug:

Hey! Where the heck is beerlab! He hasn't responded to us recently! Did he leave?

Where IS he??!!!!!

:fro: :mug: :D

Incidentally, beerlab, relative to other forums I frequent, this one seems to slow down a LOT more in the later evening hours (probably the result of members drinking more microbrew than they do on other non-beer related boards). It tends to be hopping in the mornings though. If I'm not mistaken, that's late night to you, so stop by after having a few at the pub, and I'm sure there'll be some lively conversation for ya.

very true. I was busy drinking beer last night when you posted. Majority of my posts are here from work ;)

But welcome, better late than never I suppose.

thanks guys for your warm welcomes, was great to see i'm accepted (i hope)
my website, well it still under heavy construction.

look forward to seeing you all out there :D

have a good one, but most of all, have a good beer :D

ps: great to hear everyone likes Australia and us Aussies
