I'm currently working on building a Brutus Ten type of sculpture. I have been looking at several Asco valves on the internet. I was wondering if you need to use a special valve for propane gas or if the general use type valves are ok to use? What are you using? Any information is appreciated.

I am in the process of building a system as well, though I am going with a 5 gallon system using the blichmann boilermaker kettles.
I haven't purchased the solenoid valves yet, but extensive research and input on this forum and other has lead me to these:
STC 2 way normally closed solenoid valve, 1/2" npt 120/60 volts AC
Essentially the same as the Asco variety, but much cheaper.

I ended up with so ASCO valves I bought on EBay. Part number JKF8210G94. They are a 1/2" valve. I got them for $30.00 Ea. Brand new!!!
