Has anyone else participated in the Gallup Poll related to beer and other alcohols? They called my cell last Thursday and asked a bunch of questions about what types/brands of beer I drink, how often I drink and my opinion of a bunch of different beers. The caller was a little confused when I said that I drank mostly home brew. She started trying to find it in her database before I explained that I had made it myself. I tried to give props to some of the local breweries (Victory, Troeg's, Stoudt's) as my favorites and also I tried to give the worst possible ratings for all of the Bud/Miller/Coors offerings that they asked about. It seemed like the poll was mostly about the major brands, no micro's were even mentioned.
It made me think that I may have a bit of a drinking problem
, it was really hard to answer the question, "How many beers did you have in the last week and what brand were they?" Especially after visiting the Craft Ale House (awesome place!!!) in Limerick, PA and trying a bunch of different micro's earlier that week.
Hopefully I did a good job of representing the home brewers and appreciator's of beers other than the light american lager.
