I just got a small fridge, it has electicity to it but won't cool? the compressor gets warm but that is all. Can I still use this or modify it to work. It looks brand new! Help!!:mug:

I imagine you were just moving this around and tilting it while bringing it home? If that's the case, I would unplug it and let it sit for a day, then try again.

I just hate tothrow this away. i was hoping by saving money on the fridge, I could spend alittle more on the tower, or maybe some more corny's.

Does the lagering chamber have to be temp regulated?

Ideally, yes. It would be a bit of a project, and my idea would involve risking another fridge to modifications... If you have an old AC unit or something, it would work as well. Toasted fridge+ temp controller+ something to cool/heat it with. The heat is fairly easy to come up with alternatives, but the cooling is a different story. Controlling your fermentation temps or lagering would be a great use for it, but you would need some way of cooling (at least in the summer, winter depending where you have it you will be concerned about heating it via lamp, heat pad, etc).

Just an idea, but I know I wish I had better control of my ferment temps. So far, good, but my last lager could have definitely been better if I had aged cold a little longger.
