God, this stuff is great. It's been about 2 years since I last had it, but last night I bought a couple of their 16oz bottles and trucked through them while watching a movie.

I swear i spent the time in between every taste, waiting for my next taste. It was one of those perfect beers at the perfect moments type situation. Today I am just remembering how malty it was, perfect mouthfeel, and you could just taste a degree of spice from the wonderful english hops used.

Needless to say, I won't be waiting two years before my next one ;)

That is my favorite beer, and it took about 8 tries and alot of research but my Full Owl is virtually identical. It was good but the addition of the caramel was what the recipe needed.
If you like Fullers, give it a try

This is probably blasphemy, but I never understood the allure of Fuller's ESB. Don't get me wrong, I love ESBs. A lot. But it never measured up to a brewpub version that I had a few years back - unfortunately, I've compared all of my ESBs ever after to that first one. Fuller's is a solid choice, but not remarkable, especially for the money.

I tried this on tap last week and I liked it! Their London Pride is really good too.
