Hoping to solicit the group mind for good ideas. I have a D Sankey that seems to be stuck. The handle won’t engage so it’s completely useless right now to tap a keg (fortunately I have a spare).

Anyone have a suggstion as to how to unfreeze it? Soak in hot water? Line cleaner? PBX? Put it in a vise and go at it with a 10lb sledge (kidding).

All sound like a good start. Overnight hot water/pbw would be my 1st choice. Will water run through it?

Far as I can tell, the shaft is clear. It's just the part that moves up and down when you tap the keg isn't moving. I wouldn't care since we have several american sankeys, but I'd like to post 1 of them in the "for sale" section to hopefully trade for a tap we don't have (trying to get one of everything, just to be sure :mug:)
