I just got a new kegerator and i was over eager to use it...forgot to test how cold it gets and now i have a partially frozen (some on the top all along the sides) carboy of chocolate stout!
Ive already moved it into my room with a little space heater running...what can i expect from this beer though? im planning to thaw and the re-crash cool (not freeze) the beer over the next 4-5 days but i have no idea about the possible affects.
help please?

I would just put it in a fridge at the proper temperature, and relax for a while. Don't keep swinging the temperature widely. Just let it come up to serving temperature. No warmer.
