Been looking at freezers. I've found an Amana AQC1513TEW 14.8 cuft on closeout that looks the size I want. It has an impact resistant (plastic or fiberglass?) liner that I worry about as far as beatings go. I know Whirlpool makes essentially the same configuration freezer, and it seems it's steel lined. Am I better off going for steel, or will the other liner likely hold up well and be easier to clean?
Primarily I'm interested in knowing if others have used plastic lined freezers with success. I'm big enough and strong enough (at least for now) that careful placement of a corny is no big deal.
Thanks for any thoughts.
Steve
