I noticed strange floaters 3 days after transferring my third batch ever to my secondary fermenter. The first 2 batches didn't have anything like this, so I don't know if it is OK or if I have a problem.

They look a bit like they could be clusters of tiny bubbles, but again, I haven't seen this before and was wondering if anyone could help shed light on whether or not I have a problem.

Thanks!
Bill

No problem, it's most likely bubbles like you suspected.

Mine looks similar. The wife thought it was mold when she first saw it. I worried all the way home from work.

Normal

I think the dropping krausen causes these lingering bubbles,(among other things) was there any krausen after secondary?

checked my first brew today after 7 days, and even though i had heard others say this was normal...you never know in the back of your head. the mind starts wandering, and that RDWHAHB only works after your fist batch is done!!!

anyways, pictures look exactly like what i saw 30 minutes ago in my primary, so i just want to say thanks and for posting the question and pics of something i was unwilling to put up and putting my mind at ease.

even though the question is been answered a billion times, i think sometimes it just makes you feel better to have the question answered by your own post instead of someone elses! good for the social aspect too huh
