Anyone use anything like a locking forceps on their silicone hose to keep the hose from leaking when they switch to a new hose configuration? Even when I'm super careful I still get a little drip here and there and makes clean up that much longer.

I was thinking I could clamp and switch. Thoughts or something better I should be doing?

I pinch the hose but get drips. Hemostats / forceps work but I imagine you will get drips anyway.

When I brew inside the shop I put a pan down under my pump to catch runoff.

You brewing inside?

I'm brewing in my garage but in the winter in Minnesota the less I can have spilling the better. I picked up a nice tray at a restaurant supply store that I now keep under my pumps and have a bunch of rags ready to dry up lost liquid.
