food coloring in beer?

So I just bought my second beer kit it's the brewers best double IPA I wanted to be alittle festive and add some green food coloring to will this cause harm or no

Every bar I have been to on St. Pattys adds food coloring.. I dont see an issue with it, Personally I wouldn't do the entire batch I would color each serving individually (I dont color my beer at all or drink it on St Pats colored) but to each his own I suppose. I am sure someone else will have something to add to this though.

No harm other than to the color of the beer. Just use a food safe food coloring without preservatives.

I remember St. Pats' green from my college days. Made me ill to look at it. Went the extra to order only bottled beer.
