So I removed a bit of floating mold from the top of my batch of kombutcha. It was about the size of a tsp measurer. I noticed it during the third day of the batch and am now on the seventh and it hasn't returned. Will my batch be ok?

Are you sure it was mold? Do you have a picture?

Typically, you can't just physically remove the mold and be free of spores. Once the mold starts producing spores, they are going to be all over that fermentation vessel no matter how careful you were in removing it. For the health of yourself and future batches, I would recommend discarding the scoby and starting fresh, assuming what you removed was in fact mold.
