I use it. I can't say how good it is. It seems to work. I have only used regular Irish Moss as an alternative. They seem the same to me.

Expensive? I can't say that since a 4 ounce jar costs about $10 but you use a maximum of 1/4 teaspoon for 5 gallons. It goes a long way.....

I've never used it, but when faced with that same decision some years ago, I bought a pound of regular Irish Moss for around $7. 1/2 tsp re-hydrated in a small cup with some hot wort for 5-10 minutes, previous to adding when there's 10' left in the boil works really well. Not sure what the "super" factor could add to that.

Same with yeast nutrients. I mix my own from a few basic bulk ingredients and never had any fermentation problems. I don't see the need to toss in a "magic capsule" at $1.50-2.00 a pop.

It does go a long way but it’s about 3-4 times the price over the normal stuff over here.

I’ll give it a go, nothing to loose.

I've used it in about 4 batches so far. Happy with clarity, and no bits of Irish moss stuck in my hop spider.

The instructions kinda freaks me out (you may use less but NOT more). What happens if I use more?
