First year crowns, prune?

I put in 4 crowns from GLH and the 2 larger crowns are taking off fairly quick. Once the bines start climbing a ways should I prune the bines that aren't being trained or should I let them go since this is the first year they're in the ground like I've read for rhizomes?

Let them grow, the roots need the nourishment.
