This will be my first time using BeerSmith and also the first recipe I have put together. Will that amount of corn sugar taste OK? I have never used it in a recipe, just bottling. Any comments or suggestions would be much appreciated!:mug:

0.5 lb Caramel 40L
6 lbs Pilsner LME
1 lb Light DME
1 lb Corn Sugar

1 oz Columbus @ 60'
1 oz Cascade @ 5'
1 oz Centennial @ 5'

Dry Hop: 1 oz Cascade, 1 oz Centennial for 7 days
Yeast: Safale 05

11% should be fine. Some people will add up to 18% of the grist in Corn Sugar.

I did something similar lately. I loaded your recipe, in Beer Smith -- if you shift the LME to go into the boil with 20 minutes to go you'll get a whole lot more out of your bittering hops.

Could not help noticing your brew pop was a huge BIAB model .... thats going to give you false numbers if thats not what you are using.

Thank you for catching that! I fixed it in BeerSmith. I didn't know how to add my customized equipment. Also, thank you for the LME tip, I never considered that! I changed up the recipe in BeerSmith to this after suggestions:

No problem, I was in your shoes 2-3 weeks ago playing with my recipe. People were talking about adding extract late to prevent overly dark beers ... it was then I noticed the impact on the IBUs as well ...

Beer Smith has been great for me in terms of this kind of stuff ... little changes can have big impacts.
