So, I received a dual regulator system from keg connection recently and found 4 ball lock kegs on CL. I racked the beer and everything went fine and using the color 2 volume co2 set and forget chart, I set my psi for both regs at 30psi and began to carb my beers. The kegerator I had at the time broke and I was forced to carb at room temp. I finally received my keezer today and lowered the psi to 12 for both regs (both kegs are ales). Do I need to purge the kegs at all or will it be fine. My guess is fine, but I was just checking.

Generally, you want to hit them at 30psi for 24 hours, purge, then pump to 12. However, that's under cooled temperature. I'd purge anyway, and then re-set at 12psi, just to be sure. They'll be fine either way, but this way you'll be less likely to start pumping a ton of foam when you do tap them (and they'll want at least a week before you do that).

Similar predicament. I'm kegging/fermenting at 65, and in a week will drop the temp to 45 to serve. As long as the volumes of co2 are the same, you should be fine. I would still vent, set to 12psi, and leave a day to level out.
