Woo hoo. Pulled of my first full boil Saturday night. I did another IPA and used the Turkey Fryer I picked up recently. Fun times :) The fryer was great. I did have a few boil overs. The 7.5 gal stock pot doesn't leave much room for you if you are boiling 6+ gallons.. The only other hitch was cooling the wort. I went through 3 bags of ice in a water bath, and it still took about an hour to get close to pitching temp (still wasn't there). I definitely need an IC..

One funny part to, was that I figured SWMBO would be happy I was out of her kitchen, but she came out later saying she likes it better when I'm inside cause then at least we can talk and hang out, instead of me parked in the drive way for 3+ hours in the evening :p

Anyway, it was fun to add something new to the process. Now I need to refine it, and get a chiller.. I might try moving the brewing to the back porch too, so I'll be closer to the house and family, etc..

Congrats. Now you need to update your sig. :)

By the time I make it back inside the house, SWMBO is usually taking a nap. :)
