Hello,

This is my first time brewing an I.P.A. I purchased a kit from midwest (Hop Scare I.P.A) I was wondering if anyone has dry hopped with this kit? If so what, how much, how long and what hop did you use?

Thank you.

Did you use all 2 oz of the cascade in the boil (flame out?)?

I made an IPA kit a few weeks back and dry hopped with cascade and chinook. If you have cascade left, use that.

do you have any hops on hand? if so, list those and we can make a suggestion.

if you need to buy them, you have a lot of choices. since you already have amarillo and cascade in the boil, you could go with more of that - say an ounce of each for 5 to 7 days. if you can't find any amarillo, centennial is another you should consider (alone or with cascade). citra also has great aroma.

Oh man I wish I had some citra. Good luck.

Citra, cascade, centennial, or amarillo would be your best choices.
Cheers!

Thank you sweet cell. Think I may pick up some citra. Thanks for the advise!
you're most welcome. be warned that citra and amarillo are a little hard to come by these days, so your local shop may or may not have some on hand. centennial and cascade should be available. also, ask the shop staff - they're usually very knowledgeable.

or, if you're going to order online, asking folks on this board is probably as good as it's going to get :tank:
