Yesterday was my first brew day and all went well with no real problems just a small boil over. I used a ipa kit from my local brew store then I added 2.5 lbs of rye lme. I made a 1.5l starter and used 2 packs of 1056 wyeast. My starting gravity is 1.080. My primary fermenter is staying around 68*F and about 10 hours after pitching the yeast the air lock is bubbling away. Is there anything I should look out for or expect?

Just good beer! ;)

Sounds like you had a very successful brew day! :rockin:

Only thing I would watch out for with an OG that high is blow off through the air lock...other than that id say make sure you keep an eye on the temp...you don't want to get high fermentation temps because you'll start getting off flavors.

Hope this helps and as many of our fellow Brewers say, BREW ON!

Cheers!

Congratulations, dude! Now you gotta start brewing the next one so you'll have something to do besides worrying about the first one!
