Well I tasted my first brew today, it is a steam beer from true brew. Did not get og because I did not have a hyrometer. (but I do now) It has only been conditioning now for a week but I was told to taste it so I could taste how it matures thru time. (Please get better) It was a little harsh but not terrible, kind of had a strange aftertaste, not sure how to explaine it.

Thru my reading I have already found things that I did wrong or should have done differently, and looking forward to my next brew. That I ordered, it will be a brown ale.

Any way just thought I would share my experience.

And any tips are always apprectiated.

you'll be pleasantly surprised how much better it will taste with acouple of more weeks conditioning. Patience is a virtue in brewing.

I've had some pretty wretched tasting beer turn out OK after bottling and conditioning.

Gave it another taste last night, although it is a little better, it still has a way to go. So we let it sit for another week.
