First Brew

First post and a long time reader. I got the start up gear and brewed a Märzen about a week ago. My SG was 1042 and checked it today and was 1010. I went ahead and moved to the secondary and it looked and smelled great. Took pics and will post after I bottle in a couple of weeks.

I've never had that style before, did you use a kit or do it based on a recipe you found?

I bought a DME/LME/ Steep grain kit with the gear. Its really an ale but the shop owner said its suppose to be a okctoberfest/marzen style. I figured I wouldn't jump too far in with a lager right off the bat.
