Brewing is something I've wanted to try for a long time, but just never have. My work is holding their second annual home brewing contest in November, after last year's event I knew I wanted to get involved. I picked up a 2 stage all glass kit from a local brew store, and it's currently bubbling away 
. After this first batch I quickly realized I need more stuff... lol. Found some great info on making a wort chiller on here, and I'll be heading to Home Depot today for supplies. Ice water bath in the sink got the job done, but I can definitely see the benefits of a chiller. This first batch is a grain + extract Stout. Looks and smells great so far, can't wait to try it.
I'm sure I'll be doing a lot of lurking around here in the near future. Cheers!
