Yesterday afternoon I bottled my first brew, which is a cider, and put my second brew, a APA style into secondary last night. The cider spent 2 1/2 weeks in secondary, and had improved in taste from when I racked it to secondary.

The Pale Ale smelled and tasted like a hoppy pale ale, in fact I'd have called it excellent last night and drank it with no problems. Though obviously it was flat and was a little watery without having aged and not having been carbonated.

I do believe I'm hooked. Though I could use more bottles, stat.

I don't mind running out of bottles. When that happens I stock up on rogue 22 oz'ers. Of course, one of the "chores" of buying those kind of bottles is that you have to first empty them by drinking the contents. Its a lot of work but someone has to do it, and it might as well be me!:cross:

Thats awesome, Im in the same situation now. I just brewed my second batch and I got no bottles to put them in

Yeah, my second batch is in secondary and I don't have enough bottles, but this is not a problem, I'll just run out and get myself a few 6-packs and empty them out! Ah the sacrifices one has to make. :drunk:
