So I've brewed 3 batches and spent every waking moment reading and researching and listening to podcasts cause lets face it I'm addicted. My first batch was bottled 12 days ago and I thought I would throw a test bottle in the fridge on Friday and see where it's at.

It's an autumn amber ale:
OG 1.041
FG 1.010

The beer feels a little bland, lack of carbonation, but does have a good taste. Has a noticeable, but not overwhelming hoppy scent, and head retention is minimal. Still needs some time in detention, as I like to call it, but should be a good beer in anther 2 plus weeks and longer.

I feel so proud. Like I just gave birth :mug:

30 days in the hole should teach 'em a lesson. Like how to taste better, be better carbed and clearer.

That's right. "IT PUTS THE LOTION ON THE SKIN"

Sorry couldn't help with the movie reference.

Thanks. I'm excited about how much this will improve ever time. I can't wait to taste it again in 10 days and see the progress it's made.
