So I had a few problems while I was making this batch. I dropped my thermometer in the wort (so I had no idea what temp it was at), it took over 30 minutes to chill, and then I forgot to put cold water in the carboy first. I was sure that I ruined it, but when I woke up this morning I was very pleased to hear a peculating-like sound coming from my closet (where it is stored). Does it look right, or did I mess up?

Thanks

Damn it.. now I want a beer and still have 7 hours before I'm off work.

Looks fine, don't sweat the small stuff. I accidently pushed the entire rubber stopper for the air lock into my first batch and it came out fine. I broke a thermometer in my porter and it came out fine (after filtering the glass out).

You may want to swamp cool the next batch though. I'm just north of you and it will be 106F today. If your AC struggles your brew could hit 75-80F during fermentation.
